Readers of Inside United and ManUtd.com have voted (Sir) Ryan Giggs United’s greatest player ever. Ryan came ahead the likes of Eric Cantona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sir Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes etc.
In my opinion he is without doubt the best player ever to play for United and one of the best players ever to grace the game. He is also United’s top appearance maker and is the most decorated player in English football.
Ryan Giggs was shocked and delighted with the news the Welch Wizard said:
“When I got told I was really chuffed,” he said. “I couldn’t believe it to be honest, especially when you look at the list of other players who are up there.”
It has been a fantastic month for Giggs as he has played regularly and fantastically and has also confirmed that he is set to sign a new contract with United for at least another season.
Hopefully however, Giggs can go on for another two or three years!
